Torque Wrench

HOW TO USE YOUR NEW TORQUE WRENCH

A) Balance wrench in left hand with graduations visible. Unlock knurled handle by turning locking nut on end of wrench counter clock-wise.

B) Set amount of torque required by turning knurled handled to read exact amount on case graduations.

C) Example: To set wrench to 504 in-lb.

1) Turn knurled handle clockwise until the zero graduation on the beveled edge of the knurled handle is lined up with the vertical mark on the case and is even with the 480 in-lbs. graduation.

2) Turn knurled handle clockwise until the "2" graduation on the beveled edge of the handle is in line with the vertical line on the case.

3) Lock torque setting securely by turning locking nut on end of wrench clock-wise until tightened.

D) Install the appropriate hex capture driver on the 3/8" square drive.

NOTES

A) Keep wrench at lowest torque setting when not in use.

B) Do not turn knurled handle below the lowest torque setting.

C) Each graduation on the beveled edge of the knurled handle represents
12 in-lbs.

D) Wipe wrench with a clean cloth. Do not immerse or spray wrench with any type of cleaner.

E) When setting the wrench for metric, use same procedure as for in.lb.
